Abstract
The Society of Actuaries is partnering with the Social Security Administration to support research conduced by the Center for Economic and Social Research at the University of Southern California (USC). This article is about the first project that is resulting from this collaboration. There are more in the early stages. The Committee on Post-Retirement Needs and Risks (CPRNR) is very pleased to have this opportunity to provide input to the researchers and to bring our experience in working with employee benefits and financial products to them.
