General information

Question text: Paula Smith is ^FLAge. She has had mild memory problems for a couple years, but they seem to have worsened this year. Balancing her checkbook takes significantly longer than before and she has trouble finding errors; last month, she forgot that she had already paid her mortgage and sent in a second payment, which caused her to overdraw her account. Her primary care doctor has been concerned about her blood pressure, which remains high despite several medications; however, when she gets to the end of the month, she often has some pills left over. She needs to retake her written test to renew her driver's license, but despite reading the DMV handbook several times, she has not been able to retain the information. Her daughter sent her an iPad so she could video chat with her grandchildren but she consistently has difficulty launching the application.

Should Paula discuss this with her health care provider at her next appointment or schedule an appointment to discuss?
