General information

Question text: Now imagine that the following year comes and you again need to choose a health insurance plan for your own health care only. The plan options offered by your employer in the second year are shown in the table below. Please note that the premiums might have changed from the previous year. In addition, your employer might have added or removed a few plan options.

As before, the plans provide access to the same doctors and quality of service, but the plans differ in the premium and deductible. Note that now they also differ in the annual out-of-pocket maximum ($1,500 or $1,600 per year). All plans include a modest co-payment for doctor visits, and are equivalent other than these differences in premium, deductible and out-of-pocket maximum.

The following table tells you how much you would pay in premium for the deductible and out-of-pocket maximum you select.
